LCD monitors are covered with 3 years on-site swap service (2 years on panel) by digitest Elektronik service GmbH.
LCD TVs are covered with 2 years RTB service by Carotai International B.V. 

Criteria

According ISO 13406-2, class II tolerate authorize the following number of faulty pixels

1. 17” or 19” 4:3 aspect ratio base on maximum resolution 1280 x 1024

Type 1 : 2 x 1280 x 1024 / 1,000,000 = 2.62144
Type 2 : 2 x 1280 x 1024 / 1,000,000 = 2.62144
Type 3 : 5 x 1280 x 1024 / 1,000,000 = 6.5536

so service centre will classify display as defective item if it reach following conditions :

Type 1 : 3 white pixels
Type 2 : 3 black pixels
Type 3 : 7 sub pixels


2. 19” 16:10 aspect ratio based on maximum resolution 1440 x 900

Type 1 : 2 x 1440 x 900 / 1,000,000 = 2.592
Type 2 : 2 x 1440 x 900 / 1,000,000 = 2.592
Type 3 : 5 x 1440 x 900 / 1,000,000 = 6.48

so service centre will classify display as defective item if it reach following conditions :

Type 1 : 3 white pixels
Type 2 : 3 black pixels
Type 3 : 7 sub pixels

3. 20.1” or 21.6” 16:10 aspect ratio based on maximum resolution 1680 x 1050

Type 1 : 2 x 1680 x 1050 / 1,000,000 = 3.528
Type 2 : 2 x 1680 x 1050 / 1,000,000 = 3.528
Type 3 : 5 x 1680 x 1050 / 1,000,000 = 8.82

so service centre will classify display as defective item if it reach following conditions :

Type 1 : 4 white pixels
Type 2 : 4 black pixels
Type 3 : 9 sub pixels
